Privacy Notice
Last updated 3 October 2026. What we collect, why, and how to switch it off.
The short version
We measure which pages are read so we can tell which guides help people. We do not run advertising, we do not sell data, and our calculators work entirely in your browser — the numbers you type into them are never sent to us.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets first-party cookies and records things like the page you viewed, the page that sent you here, your approximate location (country or city level) and your device and browser type. We use this only in aggregate.
Google's advertising features are switched off: the advertising consent signals are set to “denied” and nothing on this site turns them on.
To opt out, choose “Decline” on the analytics notice at the bottom of the page. We remember that choice in your browser and send no analytics from then on. If you have already dismissed the notice, clearing this site's data in your browser brings it back.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the page you subscribed from and the fact that you agreed to receive it. We use it only to send the newsletter, and we never share or sell it. To unsubscribe or ask for your address to be deleted, email us at the address below.
Stored in your browser only
Your analytics choice and any “Was this helpful?” vote are saved in your own browser's local storage. They are not sent to us.
Your rights and contact
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Email corrections@credit.com.mywith “Privacy” in the subject line.
